AP1-88 Hovercraft taken to new levels of performance!

Hoverwork Engineering completed the modification of 'Freedom 90' to significantly enhance performance levels. (1999)

Outline specification:

• Lift engines - 2 x Deutz V12 air-cooled, 525 h.p. As original.
• Lift System - Larger lift fans installed.
• Propulsion engines - 2 x MTU V12 water-cooled, 800 h.p. New installation.
• Propulsion System - Transmission upgraded throughout, propeller pitch increased.
• Hull - Hull modified at the stern to accommodate the new engines and to compensate for the change in centre of gravity.

Performance:

The AP1-88 hovercraft type is cleared to operate at speeds up to 45 knots with passengers.

On trials 'Freedom 90' exceeded 60 knots on a flat calm sea.

Availabilty:

This modification is available on any of the standard AP1-88 hovercraft offered for sale by Hoverwork.
